Web Of Trust (WOT) for Opera Browser

If you are a fan of the web browser Opera like I am then you may like to know on this day of Data Privacy that WOT now has a plugin for Opera, and you can download and test the latest version of Opera 11.01 HERE

“Web of Trust is a safe browsing tool, which warns you about risky sites that cheat customers, deliver malware or send spam.

Would you like to know which websites you can trust? The WOT add-on is a safe surfing tool for your browser. Traffic-light rating symbols show which websites you can trust for safe surfing, shopping and searching on the web.
WOT ratings are powered by a global community of millions of trustworthy users who have rated millions of websites based on their experiences. The WOT add-on provides reputation ratings to search results when you use Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Wikipedia and other popular sites, helping you protect your computer and personal information. Your online email account – Google Mail, Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail is also protected.”

To install the WOT add-on all you need to do is to have Opera installed on your PC, then download the add-on below and double click it to install and you will see the window in the below image,

WOT

Then choose the option you want, and Basic this the recommended option and the one I choose,

Then sadly you do need to register and you can do this with a disposable Hotmail/Gmail email address if you don’t wish to use for personal normal account but WOT do not spam you with junk.
